16x20 Oil Pastel on Pastelbord
We have lead with our hearts and cared for our patients, as covid ran rampant in our streets, we stayed the course with every ebb and flow. And while the heartbreak is evidenced in our tears, and we see the inequity in our healthcare systems that was laid on parade, we still hoped. None of it made any sense, shouldn’t we be further along by now? Among the flurry and kaleidoscope of mishaps, we remind ourselves through and through that seasons do not last forever. There is still a hope that good will emerge; in the black of the tear, there is still light, emerging. Strong.
